Revision Tip #4 - Don't just read!

Image
You may only remember about 10% of what you read. On the other hand, you can remember about 75% of what you actively practise (Exam questions!) and about 90% of what you can teach to somebody else. Try teaching your friends or family how to balance equations or how to measure the rate of a reaction and you will remember much more than if you just read it!

Revision Tip #3 - Get the kettle on!

Before you sit down to get some revision done, grab a drink and some snacks! These will keep you going through the study session and will stop you from popping to the fridge every time you get bored of looking at your work!

Revision Tip #2 Revision Timetable

Plan your revision as early as possible and put it into a timetable like this one ! Make sure you leave time for hobbies and leisure - you don't want to overdo it - but make sure you cover all of your subjects at least once over a two-week period!

Revision Tip #1 - Kindle Flashcards

Did you know that the  Amazon Kindle App      allows you to create sets of flashcards? You could use these to test yourself on different topics. Watch the video here to see how it works!
